I fell in love with No a from (Worth the Chance) and not stop loving her. So now with her book I just couldn't get a enough of this sass ,sexy,straight talker, .Who knows what she wanted went and got it . And that may friends sexy alpha male (Walker Powell ). This was a great read and like I love about this series is the way the write writes her lead and secondary characters . But most of all her female's characters are written beautifully. From sweet to powerful is does a great job. At not making the to annoy and sheep like or to annoying head strong can't wait for Katie and Asher and hoping for Hanna story tooMust read series

This short novella in the Blue Falls series is fast paced, scorching and sexy AF. I loved every second of it. Mona and Walker's steamy chemistry had me fanning myself the entire time. This will be the story I reach for when I need a quick sexy read to get me through the day. I just can't get enough.
Mona is my favorite character in the series. I'm so happy to see her get her happily ever after.
This may be a short book but it is packed full of hot love scenes and hilarious one liners. Mona Mitchell is outrageous in the best possible way. She says what every one is thinking and makes no apologies for it. She is fed up with dating men that want her to be something she isn't when along comes Walker who is happy to have her, over and over again😉, just the way she is.
Although you could read this novella as a stand alone it is a perfect complement to the Blue Falls series, especially for those of us who can't get enough of Mona!

Extremely short little novella about Walker and Mona.

*this storyline is something you don't see often. I have a friend who doesn't want children. She said she has been looked at like she is a nut, like her life isn't fulfilling if she doesn't procreate. Or people assume she can't have children. She and her husband are content to love their nieces and nephews. I have to tell her about this story. She and her husband are not alone.
**the short blurb at the end about Kate and Asher broke my heart. I hope it's not a lot of pushing away. Not due until December which feels like forever
Mona Mitchell is so funny and down for anything, love her. Does she need another best friend? Where can I apply? I swear as soon as I read Worth the Chance I knew that Mona was the character to look out for and Stella James proved it to be truth!
She knows what she wants and she knows how to get it, and she does. Walker Powell may seem like a buttoned down business man, but he is so much more than that. When him and Mona come together (see what I did there) during a ONE night stand, they get hooked on each other.
The banter between the two of them is great and even though this is just a novella I felt their quick connection!
This story is fun and quick, no angst, and I highly recommend it and the rest of this series. Every book of Stella's I read just get better and better and I'm so excited for Worth the Fight. The excerpt at the end of Clipped was great! Kate and Asher I'm ready for ya!
So i have never read any of the books in this series before. I will now. I loved this book. It was sexy, funny and just fun to read.
Mona (Red) is not against love, just against sharing it by having kids. She wants love but feels that whoever she ends up with is enough, and not feel the need to have children.
Walker (Slick) Loves women, his job and travelling. He doesn't have time for a family but wants to find someone to spend time with and travel with. He doesn't have the time to commit to a family with the job he has.
After one night of great sex, neither can forget. after a chance encounter at the barber shop in which Mona owns, their one night becomes one week. But will it be long enough to get each other out of their systems? Or will they both fall for the one thing neither of them had planned?? Love.

I have finished this and one other Blue Falls books in a day and a half. They are great quick vacation reads. Enough romance with characters that draw you in!
Mona is hilarious! I really enjoyed this quick read. I wish it was actually a full length novel. I feel like I just need more Mona-isms! Super hot. Enjoyed. 4 stars!
